Life here and there..

We had a lecture on Wednesday about health inequalities in the world; and to be honest, I have no idea what we talked about. The problem wasn’t that much about that I didn’t understand, but the subject just wasn’t so interesting. And as a Finnish person, I hate to hear how great place Sweden is! Also, there wasn’t that much new info, though according to almost all the statistics, US seems to be not so good place to live if you are not white and rich. Anyway, one more reason why I wasn’t that interested is probably that we have talked about this in a way or another all this time and every lecture we have had. Not in the same was obviously but all the topics have been in some way about the fact that people that don’t live in the western countries suffer more that we do and that it’s our fault.

What else have I done during this week, studied pretty much all the time. My malaria presentation is now almost ready or it is ready but it needs a last minute fixing before the actual presentation. I’m quite happy and proud of my self because I have managed to do something all by my self. And as all of them reading this and studying in Laurea knows that there is not much assignments that we do alone. However, next thing to do is to read all these five or so books for the essay. So there is something to do for these few weeks left before we fly back to Finland to spend our Christmas there ;)

Something that bothers me.. WHERE IS ALL THE SNOW! It’s not winter without snow. Let’s hope that there is some snow left when I get to Finland coz otherwise I’m going to loose my mind. Some of my friends here claim that they have seen snow here, but I haven’t seen it so in my books there is still no snow.

But yeah, that's all for this time, lets hope that I can manage to write something else soon :D
